'The Artist' tops with Las vegas crix

"The Artist" continues its winning ways among critics' circles since the Las vegas Film Experts Society 2011 bestows its finest recognition round the quiet pic. Furthermore to winning the Sierra for top picture, the Michel Hazanavicius flick also needed home wins for top actor for Jean Dujardin, best score for Ludovic Bource, costume design for Mark Bridges and art design for Gregory S. Hooper. Inside the other acting groups, Michelle Williams won best actress on her behalf turn as Norma Jean in "My Week with Marilyn," while Albert Brooks ("Drive") and Melissa McCarthy ("Bridesmaids") rounded the supporting nods. Brooks appeared to become honored while using org's William Holden Lifetime Achievement Award. Nicholas Winding Refn won for top helmer for "Drive."The LVFCS includes selected print, television and internet film experts inside the Las vegas area.
